Our Mission
The 100+ Women Campaign is a fundraising initiative of the Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation. Our group aims to have at least 100 women pledge $100 annually. Each year, $10,000 is raised and divided two ways. $5,000 is put into an endowment fund within the Foundation where interest is accrued and reinvested in women's initiatives. The second $5,000 is immediately returned to the community via a granting process to benefit and empower women and children’s groups in our area.

Letter from our Organizing Committee
In addition to participating in the 100+ Women Campaign, individuals are welcome to contribute to the growing endowment fund for women at anytime. These donations will contribute to the growing of dollars through investment - the "giving that grows" aspect of the Foundation.
Since our inaugural year in 2014, our group has enriched many women’s initiatives in our area. To date we have put $105 723 back into our community.
We are most grateful for our past donors' support and we hope that you will consider donating this year. If you know of any women who would be interested in this cause, please refer them to our website where they can donate online. Charitable receipts are issued for the full amount of the donation.
Thank you for considering donating to this worthy cause. Women in the local community are benefiting every year from your generous donors like yourself!
Sincerely,
Your 100+ Women Organizing Committee
The Granting Committee
2023 Executive Committee
The 100+ Women Campaign is a fundraising initiative of the Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation. Our committee aims to gather at least 100 women to pledge $100 annually. Some women contributed themselves, while others contributed on behalf of women who are important in their lives.
Each year, the committee, made up of a dedicated team of volunteers, help gather donations from 100 or more women who recognize that there is considerable need in this community and that there are dozens of charitable organizations of all shapes and sizes servicing a variety of interests. These organizations are providing much-needed services and programs and likely, would all welcome the support of 100+ Women.
The committee accepts granting applications from these community organizations and meets to determine how the $5,000 will be immediately returned to the community via a granting process to benefit and empower women and children’s groups in our area.
The committee plans a celebration to honour the generous donors and allows the successful grant recipient(s) an opportunity to speak more about their proposed use of the grant funds to those in attendance (100% of the money donated is split yearly between the grant recipients and the endowment fund).
