The 100+ Women Campaign

Empowering Women Through Collective Giving

About Us

Our Story

The 100+ Women Campaign is a fundraising initiative of the Pembroke Petawawa District Community Foundation. Our group aims to have at least 100 women pledge $100 annually. Each year, $10,000 is raised and divided two ways. $5,000 is put into an endowment fund within the Foundation where interest is accrued and reinvested in women's initiatives. The second $5,000 is immediately returned to the community via a granting process to benefit and empower women and children’s groups in our area.

Endowment Fund

In addition to participating in the 100+ Women Campaign, individuals are welcome to contribute to the growing endowment fund for women at anytime. These donations will contribute to the growing of dollars through investment - the "giving that grows" aspect of the Foundation.

Impact

Since our inaugural year in 2014, our group has enriched many women’s initiatives in our area. To date we have put over $105,000 back into our community.

We are most grateful for our past donors' support and we hope that you will consider donating this year. If you know of any women who would be interested in this cause, please refer them to our website where they can donate online. Charitable receipts are issued for the full amount of the donation.

Testimonials

"This project highlights the Ontario SPCA's continued commitment to serve and support people and their pets in need in our community of Renfrew County. By connecting women and families affected by a demonstrated financial need to low cost pet spay/neuters, they will help families and their pets remain together and contribute to a stronger, more resilient community."
